Food Safety Supervisor

SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety
SITXFSA006 Participate in safe food handling practices

Proper food safety is everyone’s responsibility. In order to keep your customers, your staff and your work place safe, you need to ensure safe food practices are carried out.
The Food Safety Supervisor course prepares you with an extensive understanding of the role a food safety supervisor must play within the workplace.

Successful completion of this course will ensure you have all the required skills and knowledge to implement and manage a food safety program, from identifying hazards to corrective actions, critical control points to operational policies and procedures.

PLEASE NOTE: Students will be required to demonstrate their practical skills and have a compulsory Third-Party Observation report completed to support classroom training. This observation report will form part of your assessment. The Government requires a range of supporting evidence to be compiled to demonstrate the student can carry out duties to the expected standard in a workplace.

Click on the link to view and/or print the Third-Party Observation report. Please complete and return to Regional Training Services Qld when you arrive for classroom training.

Use your Food Safety Supervisor course towards a range of further qualifications such as a Certificate III in Hospitality.
