Practical and trade skills:
AURASA102 Follow safe work practices in an automotive workplace.
AURLTJ113 Remove, inspect and refit light vehicle wheel and tyre assemblies.
AURTTD004 Inspect and service suspension system.
Operation of tyre fitting machines.
Operation of computer wheel balancing equipment.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Current driver’s licence. Ability to commit to 3 weeks training. Students will be required to provide their USI and complete a language, literacy and numeracy test.
MINIMUM AGE
Minimum age is 17 years. If you are under 18 your application must be signed by a parent or guardian.
TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT DELIVERY
Training and Assessment will take place:
Classroom: Training and assessment takes place in a classroom/workshop and involves discussions and practical activities.
Self-directed learning: Further study and assessment activities are done by participants in their own time.
Assessment: The methods in which students are assessed may include written questions, scenarios and observations.
